Notre Dame High School football is proud to announce that two Fighting Irish standouts have been named Tennessee Division II-AA All-State for the 2025 season — a powerful statement about both individual excellence and the continued growth of the program.
Quarterback Cooper Campbell and kicker Owen Maddox each earned All-State honors, representing Notre Dame at the highest level of high school football in Tennessee.
This recognition is well-deserved — and meaningful.
Leading from the Front
As the leader of the offense, Cooper Campbell set the tone all season long. His command of the huddle, toughness under pressure, and ability to make plays when it mattered most defined the Fighting Irish identity in 2025. Cooper’s growth as a quarterback mirrored the growth of the program itself — disciplined, resilient, and increasingly confident on the big stage.
Whether extending plays, delivering throws in tight windows, or competing relentlessly snap after snap, Cooper embodied what Notre Dame football is becoming.
Points That Matter
In high school football, special teams can be the difference between winning and losing — and Owen Maddox was exactly that difference all season. His consistency, leg strength, and composure in pressure moments made him one of the most reliable kickers in the state.
Every kickoff, every extra point, every field goal reflected preparation, focus, and trust — from his teammates, his coaches, and the entire Notre Dame community. Owen’s All-State honor is a testament to mastering the details that win games.
A Sign of What’s Building
While individual accolades are special, they don’t happen in isolation.
Having two All-State players in the same season signals something bigger:
👉 Notre Dame football is moving forward.
👉 The standard is rising.
👉 The work being done in the offseason, the weight room, the classroom, and on Friday nights is paying off.
In 2025, the Fighting Irish took clear steps toward becoming the program our players, alumni, and fans know it can be — competitive, disciplined, and dangerous.
The Future Is Bright ☘️
Cooper Campbell and Owen Maddox will forever be part of Notre Dame football history, and their All-State honors set a benchmark for what’s possible at NDHS.
More importantly, they’ve helped lay a foundation — one that younger players can see, believe in, and chase.
Congratulations to Cooper and Owen on this outstanding achievement. And to the Fighting Irish family: this is just the beginning.
