In 1934, Clemson University launched a revolutionary idea called IPTAY — short for “I Pay Ten A Year.”
It began with a simple belief: that if enough people each gave a small amount, they could build something great together. That grassroots effort grew into one of the most successful athletic fundraising programs in the nation — proving that consistent support from many can carry a program to new heights.
At Notre Dame, we’re launching our own version of that bold idea. We call it I Pay Twenty A Year — a movement built on the same powerful principle.
For just $20 per year, every alumnus, parent, fan, and community member can play a meaningful role in building a stronger future for Notre Dame athletics. These funds will directly support our student-athletes, facilities, and the traditions that define Fighting Irish pride.
This isn’t about large donations from a few — it’s about modest contributions from many. If everyone in the Notre Dame community joins in, the impact will be transformational.
We’re not just asking for money. We’re asking you to believe — to believe in the power of teamwork, in the strength of shared sacrifice, and in the legacy we’re building together.
This is our IPTAY. This is our time. This is I Pay Twenty A Year.
